*이야기
지단과 탄탈루스 극단은 알렉산드리아의 후계자인 가넷 공주를 납치했다. 그러나 놀랍게도 공주 자신은 성을 탈출하기를 갈망했습니다.

Story
Zidane and the Tantalus Theater Troupe have kidnapped Princess Garnet, the heir of Alexandria. To their surprise, however, the princess herself yearned to escape the castle.

파이널 판타지의 원점회귀라는 이름에 걸맞게 6부터 시도됐던 SF와의 융합을 어느정도 버리고
순수한 판타지 세계관으로 만들어진 파이널 판타지 9
당시 스퀘어의 기술력을 최대한 집중시켜 만든 만큼 지금봐도 아트 디자인 같은 부분은 촌스럽지 않은 모습을 보여줍니다
다만 원작이 플레이스테이션 1으로 제작된 만큼 배경에 사용된 소스들은 해상도가 떨어지는 편이고
CG영상들도 일부는 저해상도라는 느낌을 줍니다하지만 3D모델링 부분은 이식 단계에서 수정을 꼼꼼히 한 편이라
텍스쳐도 튀어보이지 않는 모습을 보여줘서 봐줄만한 수준입니다
비슷한 시기에 발매됐다가 최근 스팀으로 이식됐던 그란디아 2의 이식과 비교하면 그래도 성의있게 이식되지 않았나 싶습니다

JRPG를 좋아한다면쉽게 빠져들 수 있는 게임.PS1과 PS2의 과도기에 나와 큰 이목을 끌진 못했지만귀여운 캐릭터와는 달리삶과죽음이라는 무거운 주제를 다루는 명작 중 하나이다.
