Lightning Returns is the concluding chapter of the Final Fantasy XIII saga and series heroine Lightning's final battle. The grand finale of the trilogy brings a world reborn as well as free character customization and stunning action based battles.

최적화도 괜찮은 편이고 생각보다 프레임도 괜찮게 나옵니다.
스토리는 13, 13-2 이후 300여년이 지난 스토리로 세계멸망의 카운트 다운이 코앞에 다가온 순간 잠들어있던 라이트닝이 에트로 여신의 기사에서 부니벨제의 하수인이 되어 돌아옵니다. 멸망해가는 세계를 뒤로하고 부니벨제가 만든 새로운 세계로 영혼을 인도하는게 라이트닝의 임무이죠. 사람들의 소원을 들어주면 혼이 인도된다라는 설정입니다.
스토리 자체가 소원을 들어준다라여서 그런지 튼튼한 스토리라기보다는 여태까지 뿌려놓은 이야기들의 에필로그 비슷한 형식입니다. 따라서 스토리를 즐기시기 위해선 앞선 13, 13-2를 플레이하시는게 좋습니다.

전투시스템이 13시리즈중에 가장 완성도가 높다고 생각됩니다
게다가 몹 난이도도 13이나 13-2는 쉬운 몹은 엄청 쉽고 어려운적은 말도 안되게 어려웠는데
이번 작품은 쉬운 몹은 전작들 보단 더 어렵게 만들었고 강적들은(몇안됨-0-;;) 적당하게 만들었다고
