World-famous red-haired adventurer Adol Christin awakens in the unfamiliar land of Celceta, remembering nothing more than his own name. Bereft of his past, Adol explores the town he happened to wander into, searching for any clues at all to his identity. Joined by a thief who claims to have spent some time at his side these past weeks, the young adventurer helps rescue doomed miners from a collapse – an act which ingratiates him to the local Romun Army general. Impressed with their skills, the pair is enlisted to explore the Great Forest of Celceta and map its vast expanses – a task which many have attempted in the past, but from which none have ever returned alive.
Eager to unravel the mystery of his past and the cause of his predicament, Adol sets off with his new-old thief friend, Duren, to chart the untamed wilderness that claimed his memories. Along the way he meets numerous other individuals who seem to have encountered him before, and must carefully determine who among them can be trusted.
Developer Nihon Falcom originally revisited the land and characters of Japanese cult favorite Ys IV in 2012 with Ys: Memories of Celceta on the PlayStation Vita, and the game found its way to North America the following year. - 괜찮은 포팅(키마 기준)
- 노가다 없이 진행 가능.
- 시리즈 물인데도 불구하고 사전지식이 없어도 별 문제 없음.
- 2만원이라 크게 부담없이 구매가능.
단점
- 2012년 작임을 감안해도 구린 그래픽.
- 뭔가의 오마쥬라는 기분이 물씬 드는 엔딩과 에필로그에 해당하는 내용의 부재.
- 낮은 더빙 비율.

그래픽
시점변환이 안 되는 초창기 3D 게임 느낌. 얼굴묘사가 코하고 입이 실선으로 나오는 수준이라 일러스트를 전혀 못 살린다.
XSeed의 소개를 보면 그래픽 관련해서도 원작에 더해 여러 가지 옵션을 추가한 것 같은데 그래도 이런 수준이라는 것이 안타깝다. 다만 6년이나 지나 이제 비타보다 좋은 기기로 더 좋은 그래픽으로 게임한다고 자기위안을 삼을 수 있게 된 것은 장점.

전투
7과 8과 맥락을 같이 한다.
평타, 회피, 막기, 스킬, 필살기로 진행되는 3인 플레이 실시간 전투. 막기와 회피를 타이밍 맞춰서 하는 것으로 공격속도가 올라가고 mp를 얻는 등의 이득을 볼 수 있다.
내가 조종하지 않는 애들은 대미지를 덜 주고 덜 받으며 결코 죽지 않아 AI가 멍청하더라도 스트레스를 덜 받는다.
스킬은 레벨이 오른 다음 적을 때리고 있으면 자동으로 얻을 수 있고 필살기는 나중에 특정 아이템을 얻어서 장착하면 강화 필살기 사용 가능.
단점으로는 줌아웃은 제한적으로 돼도 수동 시점변환이 불가능해서 필드보스를 상대로 힛앤런을 할 때 매우 짜증나고 점프가 없어 답답하다.

장르는 액션 RPG이며, 최대 3명의 아군이 동시에 싸우는 특징을 가지고 있습니다.
하나의 캐릭터를 플레이어가 조작하고, 나머지 2명의 캐릭터는 AI로 싸우게 되며, AI로 싸우는 캐릭터들은 공격력이 감소하지만 죽지도 않아서 굳이 2명을 케어하겠다고 스트레스 받을 필요가 없어서 좋습니다.
아군의 공격 유형은 베기, 찌르기, 타격기 3종류인데, 등장하는 적들의 약점 유형이 다 달라서 3종류의 공격 유형을 골고루 플레이하게 됩니다. 이 덕분에 꽤나 다이나믹하게 전투를 풀어나가게 되고, 이동속도나 전투 속도도 빠른 편이라 게임이 끝날때까지 전투에서 지루함이 크게 느껴지지 않게 됩니다.
월드맵이 상당히 큰데 한 번도 가보지 않은 곳은 열심히 발품 팔아 가야하기 때문에 게임 세상을 모함한다는 느낌을 플레이어에게 전달해주기도 합니다. 이것의 연장선으로 이스 시리즈라고는 생각되지 않게 볼륨이 있어서 좋았네요.
다만 왜인지 '압도적이다' 라거나 '끝내준다' 같은 느낌은 없습니다. 모든 요소가 평타 이상이지만 최고라는 느낌은 아닌 뭐 그런 생각입니다.
전반적으로 상당히 재밌게 플레이 했고, 추천합니다.
