- 무대는 근미래의 화성
메카(MECHA)라고 불리는 인간형 보행 병기가 전장의 패권을 잡은 시대 -
지구권과 대치한 긴장 상태에 있는 화성에, 용병으로 고용된 주인공 『터레서 오코넬』은 연합군 시험기 『썬더볼트』를 타고 강하한다.
그의 임무는 행방불명이 된 정보 대원의 수색. 대체 화성에서는 무슨 일이 일어나고 있는가?
그리고 터레서의 눈 앞을 가로막는 붉은 메카 『크림슨・플레임』,

나름 연출 보는 재미가 있는데, 뭔가 게임 전체적으로 몇몇 부분은 아쉽고 게임 전체적으로 볼때 싱글만 봐도 어중간한 난이도가 아니다.
-멀티플레이는 고인물들만 속터지게 많고, 멀티플레이 모드가 개인전 4인 밖에 없음 트레일러 영상에는 팀전이라도 있는데, 그것도 구현 못했고 고인물들 설쳐서 멀티는 그냥 넣어준거 라고 생각 하는게 편함 호스트도 짱깨가 방장으로 만나면 들쑥 날쑥에다가 프레임 드랍 난리남
결론: 재미는 있다.

메탈슬러그 하는 느낌으로 가볍게 게임을 즐길 수 있다.
연출이나 구성이 정말 일본 메카물 좋아하는 사람이라면 상당히 뽕차오르게 만드는 맛이 있다.
온라인 PvP도 해봤는데, 아직도 퀵매가 빨리 잡힌다는게 신기하다
그렌라간 DLC를 살 지 고민 중..
