속도감과 통쾌함을 극대화한 1&2편
조금 더 현실적인 긴장감을 추구하는 3편
어느쪽이든 게임을 하는동안 엄청나게 집중하며 플레이 할 수 있을정도로 재미있었고,
난이도가 어려운만큼 계속 도전하며 클리어 해냈을때의 성취감도 남달랐습니다.
명작은 세월이 흘러도 재미있다는걸 다시 한번 느꼈습니다.
강추합니다.

둠 3는 2004년에 출시된 3D FPS 슈팅 게임임.
BFG 에디션에는 둠 3의 확장팩인 '악마의 부활 (2005)'과
BFG 에디션에서만 나온 '로스트 미션 (2012)'이 추가됨.
그리고 BFG 에디션은 오리지널 둠 3와 약간 차이점이 있다고 함.
손전등이 몸에 붙어있어서 따로 들고다니지 않아도 된다던지.
다른 클래식 둠 시리즈와는 플레이 스타일이 완전히 달라졌음.
그래픽도 향상되었고, 시야 조작은 전방향으로 자유롭게 가능함.
무엇보다도, 공포 게임 수준으로 무서운 요소들이 추가됨.
기본적으로 둠 1, 2는 액션 슈팅게임에 가까웠고,
거기에 약간 호러스러운 분위기가 추가된 것이라고 생각했음.
BGM도 신나고, 빠른 스피드에 미친 듯이 생성되는 적들을 깨부시는게 재밌었음.
애초에 그래픽부터가 무섭게 할 수가 없음;;
주변이 어둡거나 적들이 갑툭튀해도 별 효과가 없었단 말임.
하지만 둠 3는 다른 레벨의 공포를 보여줌.
일단 분위기부터가 스산하고, BGM도 계속 공포게임스러움.
그래픽은 하프라이프 1에 분위기는 데드스페이스 1 같은 느낌.
(물론 데드스페이스 1보다 둠 3가 먼저 나오긴 했지만.)
벽에서 적들이 갑툭튀하면 둠 1, 2와는 비교가 안 될 정도로 깜놀함.
