The Chinese Chronicle

기대를 안했던 게임이었지만 막상 해보니 괜찮은 퀄리티를 보여준 게임입니다. 중국 암살단의 몰락은 겜임중 얻는 텍스트로 이해가 가능하고 사오윤의 일대기도 나와있어서 궁금증이 많이 해소됩니다.
게임자체는 마크 오브 더 닌자(이하: 마오닌)랑 비슷하지만 게임 분위기나 연출등은 개인적으로 클로니클 차이나(이하: 차이나)가 더 마음에 들었습니다. 마오닌이 만화적인 느낌이 강했다면 차이나는 한폭의 동양화같은 느낌이 듭니다. 배경음도 익숙한 멜로디에 동양적인 느낌이 들도록 편곡을 하였는데 게임 배경과 잘 어우러집니다.

어쎄신 크리드 시스템을 입힌 2D 페르시아 왕자.. 라고 생각했는데 하면 할수록 이건 어쎄신 크리드 시리즈가 틀림없다. 형식이 바뀌었을 뿐 기존 어쎄신 크리드에서 하던 짓과 이 게임에서 하는 일들은 별반 다를 게 없거든.
나의 어크는 이렇지 않아! 하고 거품무는 팬들도 꽤 있는 것 같지만 나 같은 경우엔 3D게임의 컨텐츠를 2D로 옮긴 연출력에 감탄한 부분이 많다. 물론 형식의 한계상 표현하지 못한 컨텐츠도 많고 선형 진행으로 자유도가 사라져버렸지만 이건 또 이것 나름대로 앞만보며 달려가는 맛이 상당히 괜찮다.
