최고의 2차 세계대전 게임!
1편과 비교하여 여러 부분에서 많은 개선이 이루어졌습니다. 1편과는 완전히 다른 게임이라 봐도 무방합니다. 1편과 달라진 점을 몇가지만 짚어보자면,
1. 줄어든 거점의 숫자와 편해진 시스템
1편에서는 거점의 수가 굉장히 많았습니다. 때문에 초반에 교전이 크게 벌어지기 보다는 땅따먹는데 치중하는 경우가 많았죠. 거점을 먹는 중간에는 교전이 불가능 하기에 거점을 먹는 동안에는 게임이 루즈해졌습니다. 2편에서는 거점에 '구역' 개념을 도입해 땅을 먹는 중에도 교전이 가능하게 바뀌었고, 거점의 숫자가 줄어들어 자연히 초반 교전이 자주 일어나게 되었습니다. 예전에 비해 좀 더 빠르게 게임이 진행되기에 루즈하다는 느낌은 받기 어렵습니다. 1편에서는 무조건 타 보병과 다니며 지원 역할에만 치중했던 중기관총이 이제 단독으로 거점 구역에 알박고 깃발을 올리게 되었다는 점이 가장 편하더군요.
2. 간소화된 거점의 유형
전작에서는 일반적으로 작은 맵에서도 기름-대중소, 탄약-대중소, 기본 거점이 섞여있었죠. 다양한 거점은 숙련된 플레이어로 하여금 여러 전략적 선택들을 가능하게 해 주기도 했습니다만, 초보자들에게는 난해할 뿐이었습니다.2편에서는 거점이 기본 거점, 탄약 거점, 기름 거점으로 줄어들어 땅따먹기에 훨씬 편해졌습니다. 뚜껑은 기본 거점에만 그것도 탄약, 기름 중 하나를 선택하여 지을 수 있기에 선택의 폭이 좁아진 대신 더 신중한 판단을 요구하게 되었습니다. 연료나 탄약 거점에 뚜껑을 씌우지 않기 때문에 연료와 탄약 거점의 주인이 수시로 바뀐다는 점에서 게임의 흐름이 더 흥미진진해졌습니다. 전작에서는 이런 중요 거점에 뚜껑이 올라갈경우 뚜껑을 깨고 점령해야 하기에 한번 먹힌 거점을 되찾아오기가 힘들었죠.

밀리터리 RTS 컴퍼니 오브 히어로즈 의 후속작이며.
전작만한 후속작은 없다는 말을 정면으로 부숴버렸다고 평가하고싶은 게임임.
전체적인 플레이는 전작과 크게 달라진것은 없지만 지휘관 시스템으로 다양화된 컴퍼니 혹 독트린으로 내가 선호하는
작전 보조하는 스킬을 챙겨서 입맛대로 운영을 할수있음. 다만 스킬들을 각 컴퍼니 독트린이 공유하는 경우도 있고
현 메타에 어울리지않는 똥도 있으니 플레이를 하면서 익혀가던가 커뮤니티에서 질문을 통하여 배워가면 더욱 편하게 배울수있음
