내 인생 최고의 액션게임.
그동안 내가 했던 고난이도 액션 게임은 거대한 몬스터와 싸우며 적의 공격을 피하고, 내 공격을 적중시키는 방식이었다.(다크소울, 몬헌 월드, 몬헌 라이즈)
하지만 세키로의 방식은 완전히 새로운, 그러나 완성도가 높은 방식을 가지고 있다. 극히 일부(화염이나 공포공격)를 제외하면 모든 공격은 튕겨내거나 카운터 칠 수 있어 쉬지않고 공격을 할 수 있으며, 적의 체력을 깎는것 보다 자세를 무너트리는게 더 쉽기 때문에 끊임없이 공격해야만 한다.
그야말로 그동안의 액션게임이 턴제전투로 보일만한 미친 속도감을 선사하는 것이다. 잘 팔리던 게임방식에 안주하지 않고 기존의 전통을 깨부수면서도 완성도 있는 시스템을 들고온 프롬 소프트웨어에게 박수를 보내고 싶다.
액션 외의 요소들은 아쉬운 것과 좋은 것이 섞여있다.
스토리는 무난하고 나쁘지 않았다. 그동안 이 게임사는 불친절한 설명으로 유명했지만 이 게임은 우리도 스토리 보여줄 수 있어! 라고 말하는 듯 했다.
길찾기는 어려웠지만 온라인으로 연결되어 있을 때에는 기록을 따라가면 해결되었다.
음악은 연출에 따라 시의적절하게 분위기를 고조시켰지만, 아쉽게도 기억에 남는 음악은 앵룡을 제외하면 없었다.
종합하자면 아쉬운 점도 분명 있는 게임이지만 완전히 새로운 액션을 만들어낸 최고의 액션게임이다.

이만큼 몰입감 있게 해본 게임이 몇 안됨.
시스템을 이해할때까진 반복적인 죽음으로 빡침.
몹패턴 숙지 + 반응속도 적응 + 시스템 이해 = 갓겜됨
