Biohazard Revelations 2 이야기는 인기 있는 클레어 레드필드의 극적인 복귀로 시작됩니다. 지난 Biohazard 게임에서 그려진 라쿤 시티 사건의 생존자 클레어는 이제 환경 단체인 테라 세이브(Terra Save)에서 활동합니다. 테라 세이브의 모이라 버튼 환영 파티에 참석하던 도중, 무장 부대가 건물에 침입합니다. 클레어와 모이라는 기절해 어둡고 버려진 수용소에서 눈을 뜨게 됩니다. 그들은 함께 누가 어떤 목적으로 이곳에 데리고 왔는지 알아내야 합니다. 과연 클레어와 모이라는 살아남아 누가 이 외딴 섬에 데리고 왔는지 파헤칠 수 있을까요? 꼬여있는 복잡한 이야기가 진행될수록 플레이어는 다음 단계를 예측해야 합니다.
잃어버린 딸을 찾기 위해 외딴 수용 섬으로 향한 배리 버튼은 적과 숨겨진 아이템을 감지하는 특이한 능력을 가진 새로운 등장인물인 소녀 나탈리아 코르다를 만나게 됩니다. 플레이어는 이 수수께끼의 섬에서 살아남아 모이라를 찾으려면 배리의 증명된 전투 능력과 이 기술을 번갈아 가며 적절히 사용해야 합니다. 어두운 곳에서 여러분을 기다리는 무시무시한 적들이 등장하면 배리는 고전 서바이벌 호러 스타일로 탄약과 무기 보급품을 현명히 사용해야 할 것입니다.
오리지널 Biohazard Revelations의 에피소드로 구성된 챕터를 발전시킨 Biohazard Revelations 2의 처음은 2015년 2월 24일부터 시작되는 주간 에피소드 시리즈 다운로드로 진행됩니다. 플레이어는 또한 Complete Season 또는 Full Bundle을 선택해 추가 보너스 콘텐츠와 함께 모든 에피소드를 이용할 수도 있습니다. The beginning of the Resident Evil Revelations 2 tale sees fan favorite Claire Redfield make a dramatic return. Survivor of the Raccoon City incident depicted in previous Resident Evil games, Claire now works for the anti-bioterrorism organization Terra Save. Moira Burton, is attending her welcome party for Terra Save when unknown armed forces storm the office. Claire and Moira are knocked unconscious and awaken later to find themselves in a dark and abandoned detention facility. Working together, they must find out who took them and to what sinister end. Will Claire and Moira make it out alive and discover what’s led to them being taken to this remote island? A story of twists and turns will have players guessing the next step at every turn.
Headed for the remote prison island in search of his missing daughter, Barry Burton meets brand new character Natalia Korda, a little girl who has a strange power that allows her to sense enemies and hidden items. Using this skill alongside Barry’s proven combat abilities, players will need to alternate between the two to survive the mysterious island and find Moira. With terrifying enemies waiting around every dark corner, Barry will need to use his ammo and weapon supply wisely, in classic survival horror style.
Evolving the episodic chapter set-up of the original Resident Evil Revelations, Resident Evil Revelations 2 will initially release as a weekly series of episodic downloads beginning on February 24, 2015. Players also have the option of choosing Complete Season or Full Bundle, ensuring fans have access to each episode as it releases along with additional bonus content. Each episode in Resident Evil Revelations 2 includes Raid mode content and two full playable scenarios focused on the previously announced Claire and Moira campaign and the newly confirmed Barry and Natalia storyline.

- Robust Raid mode – In addition to the deep story mode, Raid mode returns with its addicting fast-action combat. The new and improved Raid mode features 15 characters and over 200 stages, with a ton of new content such as new stages from previously-released RE titles, a deeper progression mechanic, additional difficulty levels, new weapons and weapon parts, and 4x as many character skills as in Revs 1.

개인적인 1줄 평가 : 바하 시리즈를 안 해 본 사람에게 하나의 작품만 추천할 수 있다면 2016년 현재 저는 이 작품을 추천할 것입니다.
시리즈 중에서도 장점과 단점이 매우 극명하게 갈리는 시리즈입니다.
일단 단점은 기술적인 문제에 집중되어 있는데 구간을 넘어갈 때마다 극심히 느껴지는 프레임 드랍. 그리고 본인은 거의 느끼질 못했지만 사양이 다른 유저들이 심하게 겪고 있는 게임 진행 중의 프레임 드랍 및 발적화 문제가 있습니다. 이 문제는 예전보단 나아졌다고 하지만 캡콤의 특성상 여기서 더 나아질 일이 없다는 것이 매우 치명적 단점입니다. 그래픽적인 면인 애초에 저예산 게임인 관계로 별로 기대하지 않았고 그래도 심하게 눈이 썩는 그래픽은 아니니 다행. 아니 지금 발적화를 보면 그래픽이 이거보다 좋았다면 어마어마한 재앙이 되었을지도 모르겠습니다(..) 불행 중 다행이라고 해야 하나 이거..
장점은 그외의 모든 것. 개인적으론 바이오하자드로 게임인생을 시작했기 때문에 그렇게 느끼는 것인지는 몰라도 레벨레이션즈 2는 지금까지의 바하 시리즈의 최종완성형의 힌트를 준 작품이라고 할 정도로 높게 평가하고 싶습니다.

공포게임은 이게 태어나서 처음해본다.
이 게임은 플레이어가 놀라는
타이밍을 아주 잘알고 있다.
튀어나오겠지? 나오겠지 하는데 안나오고
꼭 아무 생각없을때 갑툭튀해서 놀래킨다.
게다가 어떻게 하면 플레이어가
뇌정지를 할지까지 잘 알고있다.
이런 위기상황때 어떤 행동을 해야하는지
처음에는 알수없기때문에
처음 맞서는 위기상황에 꼼짝없이
패닉상태에 빠져버린다.
분명 내가 죽는게 아니라 플레이하는
캐릭터가 죽는것인데도
내 목에 칼이 들어온것처럼
가슴이 철렁거리고 겁먹게된다.
마치 트럭의 불빛에 놀라 굳은
고라니가 된것만같다.
스토리는 보통인데
게임 분위기가 아주 끝내준다.
칙칙하고 어두컴컴한 맵에
불길한 BGM 그리고 여기저기서
들려오는 좀비의 울부짖는 소리까지..
어디에 있던 불안감이 엄습해오고 등골이 싸늘하다.
어느곳에 있던 안전하다는 느낌을 받을래야 받을수가 없다.
공포심을 느껴본게 언제일까
매일 방구석에서 게임이나
하는 겜붕이인 내가 공포를
느껴본것은 중학교때
일진들이 때리지 않을까 조마조마했던
그때가 마지막이였을것이다
어디에 있던 긴장하고
무섭고 마음 졸이는 이 기분
정말 오랜만에 느껴본 기분이다.
