알테어가 주인공인 어크 1부터 시작해서 에지오 트릴로지 그리고 노잼하게둔의 어크 3를 거쳐 드디어 대망의 블랙플래그까지 엔딩을 보았습니다.
지금까지 플레이한 어크 프랜차이즈 중 가장 재밌다고 확실하게 말할 수 있는 시리즈입니다. 3와의 연관점은 노잼하게둔의 할아버지인 에드워드 켄웨이의 이야기를 다뤘단 점입니다. 이 할아버지 덕분에 노잼하게둔이 해상전에 탁월한 능력을 보여준 것이지요. 이렇게 떡밥을 뿌려놓았을 줄이야. 성이 같은 걸로 이 사실을 알 수 있는데, 더 확실한 건 게임을 끝내고 엔딩 크레딧 올라가면서 보너스 장면을 보시면 알 수 있습니다.
블랙 플래그를 접하기 전까진 에지오 트릴로지를 따라올 어크 시리즈는 없었지만, 이제는 블랙 플래그가 가장 재밌다고 당당히 말할 수 있습니다.

2020년이 되어서야 플레이해봤습니다. 이제 출시일까지 일주일도 남지 않은 발할라를 접하기 전에 정주행합니다. 현재까지도 정식넘버링으로는 이 블랙플래그가 마지막이네요.
주인공은 3의 헤이담의 아빠이자 코너의 할아버지인 에드워드 켄웨이이며, 처음부터 끝날 때까지 암살자처럼 행동하지만 실제 어쌔신은 아닙니다. 그냥 해적일뿐이고 처음에도 그렇게 자기가 죽인 어쌔신의 옷과 무기 및 이름까지 훔친 뒤, 템플러와 어쌔신 사이에 낑기면서 모험을 하는 내용입니다.
