한때 번영을 누리던 Hermes의 왕국은 재앙의 시대로 접어듭니다.
왕국의 모든 역병을 해결해줄 열쇠로 여겨지는 연금술은 넓은 영역에 영향을 끼쳤고, 사람들은 집에서도 직접 강화와 치유가 필요하다고 판단되는 상황에 맞춰 연금술을 사용했습니다. 연금술의 가치가 올라가자 사용을 중단하기 위한 시도도 했지만, 과거와 다를 바 없이 비참하게 실패했고 왕국은 온통 재앙으로 물들어가고 있었습니다. 불과 며칠 사이, 왕국은 혼란에 빠졌고 역병에 걸린 괴물들이 피비린내가 풍기는 거리를 배회하자 왕국은 회복의 희망을 잃어버리게 됩니다.
코르부스는 곧 왕국의 마지막 희망이자 깃털이 덮인 Hermes 손에 쥐어진 운명입니다. 진실은 비극적인 세상 곳곳에 흩어진 코르부스의 기억 속에 깊이 파묻혀있습니다. 코르부스의 잃어버린 기억을 모아야만 왕국을 구할 수 있지만, 진실을 찾아내려 하면 할수록 더 많은 비밀이 밝혀집니다.

The once thriving Kingdom of Hermes has fallen to an age of calamity.
Seen as the answer to all the kingdom’s ailments, alchemy became a widely used practice across the land, with denizens welcoming it into their homes, using it to enhance and heal as they saw fit. When the price of alchemy became too steep, attempts to halt its use were made, each as woefully unsuccessful as the last, with the catastrophic consequences felt across the realm. Within days, the kingdom fell to chaos, infected monsters prowling the blood-soaked streets, all hope of a cure lost.
Corvus is the kingdom’s final hope, the fate of Hermes resting in his feathered hands. The truth is buried deep in the memories Corvus left scattered throughout the punishing world, and only by collecting these lost memories can the kingdom be saved, but each time he dives back in, trying to piece together the truth, all he finds is more secrets.

오랜만에 정말 즐거운 소울라이크 게임이다.
평소에도 소울라이크 게임을 즐겨하지만 그 중에서도 당연 수작이라고 할 수 있다,
특히 세키로와 비견되는 타격감과 손맛은 이 게임을 액션 게임 탑으로 올려준다고 생각한다.
아쉬운 점들은 있지만 1챕터의 보스인 오두르와의 일기토는 세키로의 아시나 겐이치로를 떠올릴 정도의 재미를 선사해주었다.
후에 패치로 단점들이 개선되고 성우가 추가된다면 올해의 게임을 노릴 수도 있을 것이다.

세키로에서 전투만 쏙 빼낸 미니 소울라이크
우선 이 게임의 전투는 그냥 세키로라고 봐도 무방하다. 즉, 전투의 재미는 보장되어 있다.
역병무기, 깃털, 상처 시스템 등 게임 제작사 나름 그래도 완전 표절은 아니게 노력한 모습이 보인다.
특히 역병무기라는 상대방의 무기를 빼앗아 공격하는 방식은 참신했지만, 무기들의 특징이 부족하여 나중에는 거의 안쓴다는게 아쉬울 따름이었다.
볼륨이 정말 무척 매우 떨어져 7시간이면 엔딩을 보고 말지만, 그래도 전투 몰입감 하나는 뛰어나다.
전투가 세키로보다도 더욱 스피디한 느낌이라 약간의 컨트롤이 요구된다.
소울라이크 게임을 좋아하지만 다회차를 돌기 부담된다면 이 게임을 추천한다.
