시리즈 두번째 작품.
시리즈 전통의 무기 조합이 꿀잼인 게임이며 해당 편에서는 그 조합 콘텐츠가 조금 더 보강되었다.
맨손 액션이 조금 너프 되었고 조합된 무기를 상향시키긴했는데, 변화는 느껴지는데 그렇게 와닿지는 않는 정도다.
다만 일본에서 개발한 게임이라 야리코미 요소가 있어서 그런건진 몰라도 결국엔 쓰는 무기만 쓰게 되고, 그거도 귀찮으면 (몇몇 보스를 제외하면) 음식만 잔뜩 들고 맨손으로 후드려 패는게 더 편하긴해서 전작하곤 그리 변하진 않았다.

좀비 학살 게임으로 명작이라 불릴 만한 게임인 것 같습니다. 톱으로 썰고, 총으로 쏘고, 폭탄 던지고,
괴상한 무기를 만들어 좀비들 가지고 놀고 별 특이한 템들을 가지고 좀비에게 지옥을 선사해 좁니다.다만 만들기에 재료 수급이 조금 까다로운 무기도 있고 일일이 창고 가서 만들어야하고 무기 내구도도
존재하며 내구도가 좀 똥이라는게 흠이지만요 ㅎ전 개인적으로 데라2 초반에 얻는 못방망이와 블레이드글러브로 좀비들을 휘젓는 맛이 매우 좋았습니다 ㅎㅎ 좀비들과 놀기 전 스토리 모드 진행할 땐 계속 저 무기들만 사용한 것 같아요.구하기 쉬운 것도 있고 저한텐 저 무기들 타격감이 마음에 들었습니다. 데라2 - 오프 더 레코드(갓프랭크!!!)에 비해서 스토리나 퀘스트 등의 재미가 좀 부족하다고 생각하지만, 절대 재미가 없다라는게 아니고 오프 더 레코드보다 덜하다는 거고, 오프 더 레코드는 데라2가 먼저 나오고 그 후 나온거니 넘어가겠습니다.
