단순히 게임만을 평가하면, 재미있고, 중독성도 있다 그래서 일단 따봉은 줬다.
그런데 문제는, 가격이다. DLC가 엄청 많은데, 개별의 가격이 싼편이 아니다. 아마 여기서 DLC가 1~2개 정도 더 나온다면 본편 가격을 초월할 것이다.
그렇다고, 그 비싼 DLC가 돈값을 하는게 아니다. 블러드팩은 단순히 유혈효과만 넣어주는 팩이고, 정예연대는 2개 종족씩 묶어서 팔고있다. 그래도 여기까지는, 10000원 이하의 가격이니, 밥 한끼 정도의 가격이라고 생각하고 구매한다면, 돈을 버는 입장에서는 그렇게 큰 부담이 되지 않는다.
문제는, 비스트맨 DLC이다. 아직 다른 종족 DLC가 나오지 않아서 속단할 수 없지만, 비스트맨 팩의 거의 20000원에 달하는 가격인데, 절대 그만큼의 값어치를 하지 못한다. 물론, 20000원 정도야 한두번정도라면 살만하다 하지만, 그게 창렬이고, 다른 종족 DLC들도 이런 분량에 가격이라면 문제가 생긴다. 아무래도 손해본 느낌을 지울수 없으니까. 그리고 앞으로 예고된 종족이 못해도 5~6개, 못해도 저정도라는 건데, 이게 2~3부에 걸쳐 제작될 게임이라는 것을 감안하면, 이 게임 전체를 세일 없이 구매하는데에는 거진 30~40이 들어갈수도 있다는 것이다. 30~40이면 게임기 한대를 살 가격이다. 그리고 이 게임을 좋아하는 사람들은 창렬이다 비싸다 하면서도 DLC가 나온다면 바로바로 구매하겠지.나는 예구를 해서 카오스 워리어 팩을 무료로 받았지만, 듣기로는 그 팩이 10000원 이하라고 들었다. 한번하고 안할 미니캠페인같은거 내지 말고, 나머지 전부 저정도 가격이 나왔으면 좋겠다. 물론 돈독오른 제작사는 그렇지 않겠지만.
결론은, 이 게임을 진짜 꾸준히, 애정하면서 할 생각이 아니면, 통합본을 모아서 한꺼번에 세일할때 사라는 것이다. 난 이미 늦었지만...

매우 재밌습니다.
토탈워 시리즈는 아틸라로 입문하고 워해머는 최근에 해봤지만 역시 매니아층이 생길 수 밖에없는 독특한 재미를 주는 게임입니다.
개인적으로 아틸라보다 워해머가 더 재밌었는데
첫째 이유가 간편하다 입니다. 아틸라는 각종 패널티가 붙는데다 가문, 내정, 외교, 종교 등 신경쓸게 이만저만이 아닙니다. 덕분에 게임을 하다보면 전쟁보다 내정에 더 시간투자를 많이 하게 됩니다. 이는 상당히 게임을 루즈하게 만드는 경향이 있더군요.
둘째 병종이 다양하다 입니다. 이는 병력 구성에 상당한 재미를 줍니다. 병종에 따른 상성을 이용해 이리저리 움직여보는 것도 꽤나 재미있었구요. 하지만 공성전이 획일화 된점 군주 유틸리티에 너무 신경쓰다보니 병사들이 싸우는걸 감상하는것이 어려운 점이 아쉽습니다.
셋째 최적화가 잘 되어 있습니다. 제품 권장 사양보다 낮은데 해상도 낮춰 창모드로 하는데 게임 진행에 불편함을 느껴본적이 없습니다. 로딩도 상당히 빨랐습니다. 아틸라보다 보다 선명한 배경과 캐릭터들 때문인지 아틸라보다 더욱 애정이 가는군요.
얼른 워해머2가 나와서 리자드맨을 플레이해보고 싶네요.
