호불호가 갈릴 게임은 매우 확실하다. 이 게임의 초기 체감난이도는 소울게임들 못지않다. 소울게임들의 방식이 높은 난이도로 인해 죽으면서 플레이어가 성장하는 게임인데 이 게임은 죽기 쉬우면서도 죽으면 안된다는 차이를 가지고 있다. 이 점이 다키스트던전만의 매력이라고 생각한다. 캐릭터에 대한 애정을 가지고 하는 유저는 최대한 캐릭터를 살리고 안전하게 진행하려고 하겠지만 그게 아니라면 언제나 가난한 영지관리로 인해 캐릭터를 죽이거나 해고하는 일이 잦을 것이다.

칠흑 난이도 이상으로 플레이 한다면 더더욱
그 모든걸 상당한 레벨 디자인과 나레이션, 스토리 몰입감 등을 이용하여 엄청난 재미로 승화시킨 작품
