Vermintide는 상징적인 Warhammer Fantasy 세계의 End Times를 배경으로 한 협동 액션 1인칭 슈팅 및 근접 전투 어드벤처 게임입니다.
Vermintide는 Skaven이 점령한 도시인 Ubersreik과 그 주변에서 발생합니다. 각기 다른 플레이 스타일, 능력, 장비 및 성격을 가진 5명의 영웅 중 한 명의 역할을 맡게 됩니다. 협력하여 스케이븐으로 알려진 무자비한 쥐인간 무리의 종말적인 침략에서 살아남으려면 그들의 개별적인 특성을 사용해야 합니다. 전투는 Magnus Tower 꼭대기에서 Under Empire의 내부에 이르는 다양한 환경에서 진행됩니다.

Vermintide is a co-operative action first person shooter and melee combat adventure set in the End Times of the iconic Warhammer Fantasy world.
Vermintide takes place in and around Ubersreik, a city overrun by Skaven. You will assume the role of one of five heroes, each featuring different play-styles, abilities, gear and personality. Working cooperatively, you must use their individual attributes to survive an apocalyptic invasion from the hordes of relentless rat-men, known as the Skaven. Battles will take place across a range of environments stretching from the top of the Magnus Tower to the bowels of the Under Empire.

The time of mortals is ending, and the reign of Chaos draws ever closer. The Dark Gods are at last united in a singular purpose, losing their madness across the world as never before. In the Empire of Sigmar, Karl Franz's gaze is focused on the incursion of the savage northmen, but it is not the only threat. As the Chaos moon Morrslieb waxes full, shrill voices echo through tunnels gnawed far beneath the Empire's cities, and a Skaven host swarms towards the surface. It emerges first in the city of Ubersreik, a screeching mass that consumes all before it. Soon Ubersreik is a charnel-town, drowning beneath the malevolent shadow of the Horned Rat.
Yet even in the darkest times, there are always champions to light the way. As Ubersreik cowers, five heroes, united by capricious fate, carry the fight to the rat-men. 레포데 + 워해머 + 아이템파밍이 결합된 게임이다.
우선 시점때문에 멀미할수 있는 분들도 있기 때문에 이런분들은 구매를 안하는편이 좋을수도 있을듯하다.
메인화면은 바로 룸화면인데 정식때도 크게 달라지지는 않을듯하다.
오히려 메인화면(룸)이 인벤토리 / 템관련장치 / 게임플레이로 간단하게 되어있어서 더 편한듯하다.
기본적으로 4인파티가 최대이며, 캐릭은 5명이 있다.
싱글은 따로 없지만 플레이어 + AI 3인도 할수 있고,
플레이어 + 다른플레이어 + AI이런식으로도 플레이를 할수가 있다.
난이도도 조절이 되며, 미션을 실패하더라도 일정경험치를 얻을수가 있어서 실패했더라도
크게 부담은 없는편이다.
아이템파밍이 추가되어서 파밍때문이라도 게임의 수명은 어느정도 길듯하고
반대로 파밍시스템인 노가다를 싫어한다면 오래하지 못할수도 있을듯하다.
아직 캐릭터들중에 밸런스부분이 애매한것들도 있긴한데
정식출시되어 꾸준히 업데이트가 된다면 괜찮아지지 않을까 한다.
시점극복이 가능하고, 쥐에 대해 혐오감이 없으며,
피효과, 절단효과등에도 무난하며, 파밍을 좋아하고, 워해머를 좋아한다면 충분히 즐길수 있는 게임이다.

1. 멋진 타격감 - 엑박원 패드 기준, 진동 지원 안 함
2. 적절한 난도 배분 - 레벨 30까지는 하드 이하에서 기본기를 쌓는 것 추천. 나이트메어부터 본격적으로 어려워짐. 최고 난도에서는 고도의 팀플레이 요구.
3. 캐릭터별 개성이 살아있음 - 무기에 따라 적을 상대하는 방법도 변함
4. 유려한 맵 디자인 - 개발사인 Fatshark는 스웨덴 회사. 북유럽 특유의 어두운 분위기가 배경에 잘 드러남.
5. 멀티 유저들의 성향이 대체로 점잖음
단점
1. 레프트 4 데드 시리즈와 판박이 - 무기를 얻기 위한 파밍을 제외하고 기본 골격이 같음 <- 개발진도 밝힌 사항
2. 파밍의 중독성이 강함. 단, 좋은 무기나 그 속성을 얻기 위한 '속칭' 노가다 성격도 매우 강함.
3. 한국 기준. 유저들이 많이 빠져나간 상태. 피라미드 구조에서 중간층의 부재가 심화되고 있음.
4. 3과 연동. 해외 서버로 눈을 돌리면 게임에 쉽사리 합류 가능. 단, 랙 문제 발생 가능성도 따라서 높아짐.
5. 자잘한 버그. 30만 카피 판매 기념으로 무료 DLC를 줬던 것처럼 개발진의 속이 좁진 않은 걸로 보이나, 유저들의 목소리에 대한 그 반응이 빠르지는 않은 편.
